FOREST is a very friendly and outgoing young dog that is about 4 yrs old here in early summer of 2013. He needs a grooming ASAP as you will see in his photos, we just haven't gotten to it yet. He is very healthy tho, absolutely loves being with people and stays close by while outside. From the background we did get it seems he has always been treated kindly until he was left behind.. Forest's adoption fee is $110.00 and that includes his neuter, shots and a microchip. This little guy will be a wonderful family dog too. He weighs about 25 lbs. Come and meet Forest!!
DENIM is a kind and hopeful neutered male, 4 years old in the Spring of 2013 He is a typical working dog
with lots of intelligence and try. This guy craves attention and will make a fine addition to your ranch or country style living. He has a gentle demeanor with other dogs so having other dogs in your family will be just fine. Denim's adoption fee is $110.00 and that includes his neuter, shots and a microchip. Very handsome boy.
Cricket is a funny, sweet, high energy dog that just loves to stay busy. She is about 3.5 yrs old as of Spring
2013, small, about 35 lbs, and she sleeps all night in the house, but if given the chance she prefers to stay outside all day. This is not a dog you can just leave in the yard. She needs lots of interaction and exercise because the working dog is very strong in Cricket. Her favorite past time here is chasing Ravens across the field for hours at a time. She is not a big fan of playing with other dogs but she would do well with a companion dog that is gentle and would not intimidate Cricket. This girl will make you laugh and she is very loving, she is great with cats too. Her adoption fee is $130.00 and that includes her spay, shots and a microchip. This is a lovely dog and she will make a great. companion.
AND THEN there is PEGGY!! This little gal is quite the character. Peggy weighs about 25 lbs. and she is
around 4 yrs old in Spring 2013. She has been here at FFAA for about 3 yrs now, just hanging out as part of the gang. She is a great house dog but loves to be outside during the day helping with chores. Peggy is very shy but warms up quickly. It has been hard for her here because she loves me but does not get the one on one attention she needs. I have finally decided that it is time for her to get her own person that can take her to the next level. She has some watch dog in her, will bark when necessary, and she is an underdog in the dog pack hierarchy, so she could live with just about any other type of dogs.Peggy's adoption fee is $130.00 and that includes her spay, shots and a microchip. She will succeed with a knowledgeable dog person that is willing to be patient with her and give her time to find her footing. Peggy will be a great companion and she is well deserving.
